Miriam Academy, an ISACS accredited high school in St. Louis, is seeking an Interim Head of School to lead the school for the 2021 - 2022 school year. Miriam Academy serves students in grades 9 - 12 who have learning, social, or language challenges. A more complete position description will be available soon.

Because this is a search for a July 1 placement, candidates should express their interest and begin the application process as soon as possible. We will start reviewing candidate files as soon as we receive them. For a file to be complete, we will need:

• A targeted letter to the Search Committee expressing interest in the opportunity and your qualifications

• Resume or CV

• Educational philosophy and/or personal statement

• The names, email addresses, and telephone numbers of five professional references (Finalists will be expected to provide additional references)

The search calendar calls for:

• Completed applications by February 22, 2021

• The identification of top candidates in early March

• Interviews with the semifinalists in mid-March.

• Finalist interviews in late March

• The position commences on or about July 1, 2021.

The compensation package will be within the expected norms of comparable NAIS schools.
